The Systems Model
Some things cannot be explained with a slide because the point is how they behave over time: a pipeline that fills three years after you fund it, a queue that clears and then floods, a reputation that lags what it deserves. The Systems Model builds those as small simulations with levers the learner can pull, then wraps each one in a story: what happens if nobody touches anything, what do you predict, walk me through it, now hit this target. One file, no server.

A stock is a level. A flow is a rate. Everything else is arithmetic.
You name the things that fill and drain, the rates that move them, and the levers a person can set. Formulas are plain: a flow can be applicants × 0.4, a delay is a stock that empties over three years. The tool compiles the model as you type, runs it, draws the feedback loops it finds, and tells you when a formula mentions something that does not exist. Then it sweeps every lever so you know before a learner does whether pulling it actually changes anything.
The baseline first
Before a learner touches a lever they see what happens if nobody does, and are asked to predict. The chart then shows their run against the dashed baseline, with the gap coloured by whether more of that thing is better.
A guided walk, then a task
The story step lets you write the brief, the predictions to ask for, and a walk through the model one lever at a time. The task sets targets the learner has to hit by the end of the run, and reports whether they did.
Honest about the numbers
Every model carries a caveat line the learner sees: trust the shape and the timing, not the third digit. The tool nudges you to write a good one, because a plausible model with a false precision is worse than no model.
